Guys, it happened! After two years of singledom I have finally found him and he’s perfect! And, unlike my exes, when we exercise and eat healthy together, he actually likes it!

I absolutely love Savannah’s new beanie and knew that I had to get some pictures of her wearing it. I’ll be posting a DIY for it soon.

My dad cut down a tree in our yard. It looked pretty neat, so I decided to take the photos there. The branches bounced up and down as I walked over them and the wind kept pushing Savannah over. But I still managed to get some photos.

Adventure of a Lifetime*

Confessions of a Mystery Novelist...

extreme-adventuresHave you ever been on what a lot of people call an extreme adventure? People who go on those adventures don’t necessarily do so for the kinds of goals most of us might think of at first. Many don’t take those adventures to reach a specific place, or to find food. Rather, they want to dare themselves to complete the task. And there’s something to that, if your goal is to test your mettle.

Those sorts of adventures can add an interesting dimension to a crime novel, too. For one thing, the forces of nature can add an element of suspense to a novel. After all, hiking in virgin forest, zip-lining, and climbing mountains are dangerous. For another, all sorts of things can happen on such adventures, simply because the people who engage in them are human. They have their own histories and ‘baggage.’

Introduction to my travels

Love & Little Luxuries

I don’t know why but I feel especially motivated to blog when it’s late in the night and I should be sleeping. Is it just me?

Anywho, if you’ve read my “about me” page you probably have gotten the hint that I’m in the airline industry. I’ve actually been a flight attendant with a major airline in the U.S. for almost 3 years now (3 years in January, yay!). My birthday is coming up next month (November 18th) and I have no idea where I want to go. There’s so many places I haven’t been to yet but a part of me just wants to stay home this year. So since I might not go anywhere…
